The Inn at Jim Thorpe, built in 1849, is the last remaining grand Victorian hotel from Mauch Chunk's heyday as a coal transportation town. Our 65 rooms, from elegant mini-suites to comfortable standard rooms, are spread throughout 3 buildings in the heart of downtown.

Our flagship building at 24 Broadway is one of Jim Thorpe's most visible landmarks, with its famous ornate cast iron balcony overlooking the main street. Located in the heart of the historic district, our 4-story Inn contains 45 rooms, from cozy standard rooms, to 2 bedroom suites with fireplaces and soaking tubs. The building has a 24-hour front desk, elevator, secure bike storage, ping pong room, relaxing spa services and the popular Broadway Grille, just downstairs.

55 Broadway is a restored, elegant Victorian building across the street from the Inn. 55 Broadway blends Victorian grandeur with the latest in modern amenities. Large oak doors, a twisting staircase banister, lots of sunny windows and a few rooms with a breezy shared porch make this building the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Please note, this building does not have an elevator.

Our cozy Victorian building at 44 West Broadway, just 4 blocks up the street, contains 13 comfortable rooms, including a few with whirlpools. There’s a charming sitting room downstairs, as well as a kitchen and dining area that’s available for groups. Outside, 2 spacious deck areas in the wooded backyard provide a great place to unwind.
